What Affects the Price of House Cleaning in Lincoln?
The five things that set the price of a house cleaning in Lincoln, from the size of your home to how often we come, and the quickest way to see your own price.

"How much do you charge?" is the first question almost everyone asks us, and it's a fair one. The answer depends on your home. Two houses with the same number of bedrooms can take very different amounts of time to clean.
So we price every clean from a few details about your home. Here's what they are and why each one matters.
1. The size of your home
Bigger homes take longer. We start with bedrooms and bathrooms and estimate the square footage from those. If you know your exact square footage, you can enter it and the estimate adjusts.
Bathrooms carry more weight than you might expect. Every toilet gets cleaned top to bottom, every shower and tub gets scrubbed, and glass doors, mirrors, and fixtures all get detailed. A three bedroom home with three bathrooms takes longer than the same home with one.
2. How your home looks right now
This one surprises people. A home that was professionally cleaned last month and a home that hasn't had a deep clean in a year are very different jobs, even at the same size.
Our estimate asks you to slide a photo of a kitchen until it looks like yours today. The scale runs from "pretty clean" to "heavy buildup":
- Pretty clean: kept up, with light dust
- Lived-in: everyday dust and crumbs, with a well-used kitchen and bathrooms
- Needs extra attention: visible grime, sticky spots, dusty fans and vents
- Pretty dirty: grease on the stove or backsplash, soap scum, rings in the toilet or tub
- Heavy buildup: layers of grease and soap scum, hard-water stains, heavy dust or pet hair
The further along that scale your home is, the more time the crew needs to bring it back. Picking the closest match keeps your price accurate and gives the crew enough time for the job.
3. The type of clean
We offer four home cleaning levels, and each one covers a different amount of work:
- Regular cleaning keeps a home on track with weekly, every-other-week, or monthly visits.
- A one-time deep clean goes top to bottom and adds outlets and light switches, inside windows and window trim, baseboards, door frames, all cabinet fronts, and the inside of the fridge and stove.
- A move-in or move-out clean covers all of that in an empty home, plus the inside of every cabinet.
- An after-construction clean adds drywall dust off the walls, on top of the move-out list.
If you're not sure which one fits, our guide to deep cleaning vs. regular cleaning walks through the differences room by room.
4. How often we come
Regular customers pick weekly, every two weeks, or monthly visits. The more often we come, the less builds up between visits, so each visit takes less time.
Every regular plan starts with a deep clean. That first visit brings the whole home up to standard, and the regular visits after it keep it there. It's why the first clean costs more than the ones that follow.
5. Extra tasks
Want something done that isn't on the standard checklist? Regular customers can ask for custom tasks, and we add them to the job form so the crew does them every visit. For one-time cleans, extra tasks can be added if you talk to our office first.
You can also add photos of your kitchen, bathrooms, or any room when you request your estimate. We look at them and tighten your price range.

Common questions
How is the price of a house cleaning worked out?
From the size of the home, how it looks right now, the type of clean, and how often we come. Our instant estimate asks about each one and shows your price on the spot.
Why does the first clean cost more than the ones after it?
The first visit is a deep clean that brings the home up to standard, including baseboards, outlets, inside windows, the fridge, and the stove. Regular visits after that take less time because they keep that standard in place.
Do I need to know my square footage to get a price?
No. Bedrooms and bathrooms are enough. We estimate the square footage from them, and you can change it if you know the exact number.
